Websites I've built

(Spoiler Alert) They're mostly Drupal sites.

I built my first major Drupal site, for the Victory Gardens Theater, in 2007. Drupal quickly became my platform of choice. Drupal is extremely flexible, extensible and has one of the most active communities in Open Source. Here are a couple of projects I've worked on over the years as a freelancer and as a part of a company.

Check out these sites

Joffrey Ballet

Mightybytes overhauled the website of the Joffrey Ballet using Drupal 6 and I served as the lead architect and programmer. This site makes heavy use of Panels, CCK 3 and draggableviews on the admin site.

Musicdealers.com

I was initially hired by Mightybytes to serve as the lead Drupal developer for musicdealers.com. Supplied with a visual design and volumes of business requirements I moved musicdealers.com off of a home-brewed CMS to a heavily customized Drupal installation. This project pushes the boundaries of the Drupal 6 node access system, uses nearly 100 CCK fields and hooks into the Views API at a number of levels. When Mightybytes handed off the bulk of development responsibilities, musicdealers.com was ably handling hundreds of gigabytes of mp3s and thousands of users.

Inwindow Outdoor

Inwindow Outdoor does street-level interactive advertisements all across the country. I built there site freelance using Drupal and had the visual design provided. Inwindow Outdoor had some great visuals to work with and Drupal's file handling and image manipulation functionality made working with pictures and videos easy.

Lookingglass Theatre Company

While I was working part-time at Lookingglass I was also contracted to rebuild the entire site in a Content Management System. Often when I show this site to other designers, they are surprised to hear that it is also a Drupal site. I retained some of the visual design elements of the prexisting Lookingglass site and came up with something unlike a lot of the blog style layouts common to Drupal sites.
